WASHINGTON, D.C. - Richard W Stewart, a volunteer in the non-partisan citizens group Help the Commission on Presidential Debates (Help the CPD), today announced major progress in allowing American voters to communicate their views to the Commission on Presidential Debates.>
"As a result of our efforts to help the Commission on Presidential Debates accept electronic communication from its constituents, the CPD today added a 'Comments may be sent to:' link on their webpage. We see this as a major step forward for the Commission and its technology, and encourage all American voters to take advantage of this email address, which is "comments@debates.org."
"Since many American voters may not yet be aware of this link, we are continuing to provide hard copies of electronic communication to the Commission, through our Washington office, which delivers messages by hand, directly to the Commission, on a daily basis," said Mr. Stewart.
"In addition, we look forward to working directly with the CPD to release, to its constituents, the summary results of the citizen comments it receives."
