Help the CPD Opens Washington Office

Aug 22, 2012 12:18 PM

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Richard W Stewart, a volunteer in the non-partisan citizens group Help the Commission on Presidential Debates (Help the CPD), today announced the opening of Help the CPD's new Washington office, located inside Soho Tea & Coffee, a popular independent coffeehouse in downtown Washington DC. The Help the CDP office is now able to accept electronic communication intended for the Commission for Presidential Debates (CPD), print a hard copy, and hand deliver the communication directly to the CPD Washington offices. “Until today the Commission on Presidential Debates was unable to accept electronic communication from its constituents, due to technological deficiencies. Thanks to our new Washington office and its dedicated volunteer, those days are over,” said Mr. Stewart.

American voters with something to say to the CPD should join the Facebook Group ‘Help the Commission on Presidential Debates do its job,’ and post their comments to the CPD there. All comments are printed and hand delivered daily, directly to the CPD Washington office .

“We see this as just a good start,” said Mr. Stewart, “and plan to provide additional methods for citizens to communicate electronically with the Commission on Presidential Debates in the future.”
